Archives for November, 2005

I am terribly sorry to announce that Liljeqvist.com will be away travelling for a while, and that the site will only be updated intermittently, if updated at all.
It was my intention that I would somehow find the time to put the site on auto-pilot by posting in advance a number of photos for the period I would be away, but I am afraid that I have not found the time to prepare new content for the coming three weeks.
My itinerary will take me to London, Singapore, Sydney and Frankfurt and I expect to be back in Sweden on December 19th, just in time for Christmas. Take care, all.

The Liljeqvist residence had the great pleasure of hosting another one of young miss Sofia Carlen’s loud performances yesterday night. She is here seen with father, and voice coach, Henrik.
“They’re surprisingly loud, aren’t they?”, he said.

The gradual redesign, or rather realignment, of liljeqvist.com continues. New this weekend; a Jane Austen-like logo (credit to Pia Frauss for the nice font), complete with mouse-over effect, and an “about” box in the right column.

Autumn leaves outside my window.
I will spend the next couple of days in London, where I will finally close the project I have been working on for the past year.
To celebrate, I have started rebuilding this site’s interface a bit, and the first change can be seen on the right. Gone is the not so elegant text calendar listing years and months, replaced by a drop down menu listing all months with photo journal entries. I am most pleased with how the script behind the archive menu detects which month is currently being shown. (That said, I have not really tested it more than in Safari and Firefox on Os X, and IE and Firefox on XP, but I hope that the navigation works for most people.)

Gibraltargatan, or Gibraltar Street. I live in a house just outside the picture, to the right.

Mid-conversation snapshot from a trip to Bangkok a few years ago.

“You only post boring photos of flowers”, Lukasz said.
“So what kind of photos are fun, then?”, I asked.
“Well, photos of Anton of course”, he answered.
Well then. Here’s a shot of Lukasz and Anton, shot through the spoon Anton was wrestling me over.
