Archives for December, 2005

Here’s wishing all visitors of liljeqvist.com a Happy New Year.
I hope you all have a nice and prosperous 2006 and that all your dreams, hopes and wishes come true.
Personally, I hope that the coming year, amongst other things, will involve some exciting travels with plenty of photo opportunities – like my recent trip to Singapore and Sydney. Even though my trip was a business one, I was lucky enough to find a couple of days off during the weekend. I must admit that Manly Beach, Sydney, is a quite enjoyable place to spend a December Sunday.
Sitewise, I will try to find time for a small revamp of the site – I am looking at setting up some photo galleries here (next to the week-daily photoblog), to display some of my favourite sets of photos in a bit better resolution than these ones’.
Take care all, and come back in 2006.

I am finally back in Sweden after my three week journey to Sydney and back, and am now recovering from the last leg of the journey. The time to get from door to door from my hotel in Singapore to my apartment in Gothenburg, Sweden, turned out to be roughly 20 hours.
Apart from a new iPod, overweight luggage thanks to too much gadgetry shopping in Singapore and an overwhelming set of new and exciting impressions, the trip also resulted in 8GBs worth of new photos. I will try to update this site before Christmas.

I had never before had lager with ice cubes in it, until I came to Singapore.
