All friends and readers of liljeqvist.com: I hope you all have a great and wonderfully happy new year. May 2007 be the year when dreams come true, old moulds are broken and new frontiers charted.
Why always “not yet”? Do flowers in spring say “not yet”?

The follies which a man regrets most in his life are those which he didn’t commit when he had the opportunity.

I am now finally at home in Sweden, after a long trip back from Australia. This weekend I stopped over for a couple of days in New York, where I picked up a new 85 mm lens (used above at Times Square) and visited my friends Chris & Janet.

Bo, Hans and I were over at the Lonergan’s for a bite to eat on Saturday afternoon. Molly the dog jumped in the pool and hilarity ensued.

My colleagues at our Gothenburg office tell me that there has now been horisontal rain and around-zero temperatures there for a month straight. As contrast, here is a close-up of my friend Tobias’ lawn from last weekend.

Four years ago, my good friend Tobias Peciva moved to Auckland. Yesterday, I flew over to New Zealand from Sydney to visit for the weekend. A great reunion – both with Tobias and New Zealand (I was here on holiday 7 years ago).
