Whale Splash

Don’t you hate it when this happens? There you are, enjoying the calm horizon off Bondi Beach with a couple of friends, when suddenly a massive humpback whale (see rectangle for a zoomed view) decides to ruin the serenity. Most annoying. Them whales, they never learn.

Opera Bar

Yet another Saturday afternoon at the Opera bar.

New gadgets this week; one Trek Soho 3.0 bike, one pair of new Rayban pilots with prescription lenses and last but definitely not least; a new Australian 457 visa sticker in my passport. With my Australian work permit in place, I expect to join my new job Monday next week. That marks the end of a 5 month mini-retirement that saw me move from Europe to Australia. I am quite looking forward to getting back up in the saddle again.
