Another weekend, another day at the beach.

Another dreary winter week coming to an end. Sunset surfer catching the last waves off Bronte beach this afternoon.

More Bondi

And here is another shot of Bondi, this time of the apartment blocks across the water. And from there, we rode our bike home. In shorts. After yet another 25 degree winter’s day. And all was good.

Waxing Moon

Moonrise over Bondi earlier this evening.

Every time I see this I realise how far away from Sweden Australia is. When I grew up in Sweden, I learnt that the moon crescent is vertical and travels from one side to the other. But not until I came to Australia had I ever seen moon crescents like this. Ok, I wobbled a bit with the camera but you get the idea – sometimes here the moon looks like a smiling mouth, not a standing crescent.

Another dreary winter day

So another late winter day here in Sydney, with the mercury hitting 25 degrees. My kind of winter.

Above, Grand Road through Centennial Park this afternoon, with Federation Pavilion in the background.

Building Lego

Circle complete – I’ve been wondering when I would find myself doing this. Having absolutely loved Lego when I was a kid, I am now building with my godson Anton. (Also, little did I know when I was a kid that white wine goes very well with building fire trucks.)
